This article is for LetHub customers (property managers) who handle billing for their account. It explains how the cards on your LetHub account are used, why a payment can fail even after you've updated your card, and how to get your payment info changed.
The two cards on your account
Your LetHub account can have two separate cards on file:
Your monthly billing card - the card charged for your regular monthly billing.
Your default invoice card - a separate card used for invoices and overage fees (for example, ID-verification overage charges).
Important: these are stored separately. Updating your monthly billing card does not update the default invoice card - the card used for invoices stays as it was until it's also updated.
How to update the card on file
Updating a card isn't something you can change yourself in the app right now - card changes are handled by the LetHub support team. Here's how to request it:
Open the LetHub support chat (the same messenger where you reach our team).
Ask to speak with the support team about updating the card on file. Card changes must be handled by a person, so explicitly ask for a human agent rather than only describing the change to the chat assistant.
Tell the team which card(s) to update. If you want every charge to use your new card, ask them to update both your monthly billing card and your default invoice card so the two stay in sync.
The support team will make the change and confirm with you.
