When does a lead get their lockbox code?

Showing codes go out by text 30 minutes before a self-showing, once the lead is ID verified.

Written by Support

For a self-showing, LetHub texts the lead a one-time lockbox code 30 minutes before the showing starts. The code is not sent when the tour is booked, so an empty activity log before then is normal.

What has to happen first

  1. The lead completes the ID check.

  2. The lead books the showing.

  3. LetHub sends the code 30 minutes before the start time.

A showing is only confirmed once the lead is ID verified. If a lead starts the ID check and leaves before finishing, no code is sent until they verify and book again.

Check whether a code went out

  1. Click Leads in the left menu and open the lead.

  2. Look at the activity log for the code text.

  3. If the showing is more than 30 minutes away, the code is not due yet.

Send a code yourself

  1. Click Lockboxes in the left menu.

  2. Click Generate code for the box.

  3. Share the code with the lead.

A code you generate is valid all day. Once it is entered into the box, a 2-hour timer starts.
