The Property Type field sits on each property's Edit Property page, in the General section. It belongs to the property, not to its units.
Where the type comes from
When a sync from your property management software creates a property, LetHub reads the listing description of the first unit at that address. If the description names a type, the property gets that type. For example, a description that says "condominium" sets the type to Condo.
If the description names no type, the property is set to Single-Family House.
Any wording in the description counts, including your pet policy. A line such as "up to 50 lbs for apartments" can set a house to Apartment.
Change the type
Open Properties from the left menu.
Click the property you want to correct.
Open the Property Type list in the General section.
Choose the correct type.
Click Save.
Will my change stay after the next sync?
Yes, as long as the property stays active. Each sync updates the property from your listing, but LetHub keeps the type you set by hand.
If a property goes inactive and comes back in a later sync, its type is read from the description again. Check the type once it is back.
